On Wednesday 9 April, the Corn Exchange Wallingford is showing an ‘exhibition on screen’ performance of The Dawn of Impressionism: Paris 1874. This is a wonderful exhibition from Musee d’Orsay, which highlights how in 1874, the first impressionist painters broke the mould by holding their own exhibition outside the official Salon. Impressionism was born and the art world was changed forever. There is a 2.30pm showing (with sub-titles) and a 7.30pm one, the same day. Tickets are going fast, so click below to buy yours!
