3 and 4 September – BunkFest weekend
We had a stall on the Market Place during BunkFest to promote the club and its events. Members of the club were present, both to demonstrate some sketching/painting techniques and encourage visitors to have a go themselves. Visitors to the stand expressed interest in drawing and painting, attending tutored classes and joining in social events.
We enrolled three new members and have since received many enquiries via our new website.
We also displayed a selection of artist’s materials donated by members for budding artists to buy. Proceeds will go to support the club’s project “Art into the community”.
