Winter art show

More than 500 art lovers will enjoy Wallingford & District Art Club’s Winter Art Show on 30 November and 1 December 2024 at Centre 70 in central Wallingford. The free event is open from 10 am to 4 pm each day.

Timed to coincide with Wallingford’s Christmas Shopping Event on 1 December, visitors can pick up a perfect, original gift from over 100 artworks, plus limited-edition prints, art cards, handmade gifts and ceramics.

Families and visitors to Wallingford will find plenty to delight among our members’ still-life, landscape, animal, flora, figurative and abstract artwork, all produced by our 50 club members who range in ability from commercial artists to skilled amateurs.

“Our last three shows have delighted around 500 visitors each time,” said Nick Shanagher, chairman of the friendly local art group.

“There is no pressure to buy. We welcome the feedback. And some people fall in love with a special painting. So, with Christmas around the corner, come and find something unique for your loved ones.”
