Spring workshop – animal portrait in watercolour

Join us on Saturday 22 March 2025, from 10.00am to 4.00pm for an all-day workshop led by artist Liz Chaderton. Liz will demo painting an animal portrait in watercolour on canvas and guide you to produce your own finished work.

Liz loves the way working on canvas brings a modern dimension to each painting. The surface is specially primed to accept the paint and then sealed. It is a contemporary way of displaying your art and she loves the mix of traditional watercolour with the new.

Liz lives in a small village in Berkshire, working mainly in watercolour and ink. She initially followed her love of science and words but the need to create always called. She has travelled extensively with pencil and paper to hand and sketched giant tortoises in the Galapagos and ancestral houses in Indonesia. Gradually, painting became something she couldn’t ignore, and in 2016 she committed to being a full time artist.

The workshop is £45 for members and £50 for non-members, who are welcome – on a ‘first come’ basis

Places are limited to allow for tuition, so to reserve yours email admin@wallingfordartclub.org.uk
