Wallingford and District Art Club (WADAC) held a successful exhibition as part of Oxfordshire Art Weeks from 13-15 May 2022 at The Great Hall at Cholsey Meadows. Club chair, David Booth said: “We were delighted to get over 400 visitors in to view over 90 art works over the three days. Many commented on the quality and variety of the work on display, plus they enjoyed the spacious and airy venue and the refreshments on offer.”
David confirmed that the event resulted in higher footfall and sales than normal, with more art works and cards being sold during the event. WADAC has been encouraging artists in and around Wallingford since 1979, and one of the key aims was to publicise the Club and encourage new members to join.
