Our Spring Art Show is coming up on the weekend of 8–10 May at Centre 70, and I would like to invite you to take part.
This show is at the heart of what we do as a club. It gives all of us the chance to share our work with the wider community, to support each other as artists, and to create an event that brings people into Wallingford to enjoy art in all its forms. It is also an important way for us to generate sales for members and to raise the profile of the club.
Whether you are a regular exhibitor or entering for the first time, I would strongly encourage you to put work in. A varied and full exhibition is what makes the show special.
The entry form is available from me on admin@wallingfordartclub.org.uk. It includes all the details you need, including fees, timings and presentation guidance. Printed copies will also be available in Centre 70.
We will be holding a preview evening on Friday 8 May from 7.30pm. This will be an informal opportunity to view the exhibition with a glass of wine and to celebrate the work on display. There is no guest speaker this year, but I will say a few words to open the show. All members are very welcome, and you are invited to bring a guest.
As always, the success of the show depends on all of us. If you are exhibiting, please be prepared to help with setting up, stewarding or taking down. Nicola will be in contact about that or email her on the same email as above.
It is always a highlight of the year. People genuinely enjoy seeing what we create, and it is a great moment to be part of the club.
