Held on the third Tuesday of the month (except in October and December) from 7.30 to 9.30pm at Centre 70 with an invited artist. Members attend free of charge. Non-members welcome for a fee of £3.00.
Untutored Painting Evenings
Held every Tuesday (except the third in the month) from 7.30-9.30pm at Centre 70. Members attend free of charge. Non-members are welcome for a fee of £3.00. Please bring your own materials and projects.
There are limited places are provided, on a fee-paying basis, for daytime classes with a professional artist, who teaches in all media. The course, held in Centre 70 is in three ten-week terms: Spring, autumn and winter. 2020 time table. Morning classes are targetted to beginners/improvers who wish for a more low-key tutition. The afternoon classes are targetted to improvers/advanced artists who wish to stretch their abilities.
The Club arranges occasional all-day Workshops with a professional artist, where participants have an opportunity to learn about and practice a particular medium or subject. The fee covers the Workshop costs. For life drawing classes, please see the Life Drawing Code of Conduct.
Outings and Visits
A Sketchbook Saturday takes place in late spring and an Outdoor Painting Day in August. Visits to Art Exhibitions and Galleries may be arranged, on a self-funding basis, and opportunities are sought for WADAC members to join other Art Groups' excursions.

We are a small group that have been meeting for the last six years. I set it up to overcome some of the problems encountered in some institutional classes. We meet for about 50 weeks of the year(except when I'm on holiday) - David Turner
